ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Shelli “Bella” Chambers is a children’s author who believes stories should be filled with heart, humor, and moments kids can truly see themselves in.
Her love of storytelling began years ago in the classroom, inspired by an English teacher who showed her that creativity and detail should never be feared. That passion came full circle one Friday morning while volunteering in her children’s second-grade class. As she read aloud, adding her own flair and theatrics, she noticed something powerful. The students were fully engaged. They were leaning in, laughing, and connecting to the story.
That moment planted the seed for Not So Much Alike. With the support of her husband, her family, and her faith, Shelli turned a personal parenting experience into her debut children’s book. She looks forward to creating many more stories that celebrate individuality, big feelings, and the beautiful differences that make every child unique.
